These are little hen ornaments — not chicks — and they absolutely look grumpy, sarcastic, and slightly unimpressed with the world.

Plump and low-sitting, they have that settled hen shape, as if they’ve parked themselves down and decided they’re not moving for anyone. One is finished in a soft, warm grey with tiny dotted markings, the other in a deep mossy green, both glossy and smooth with a gently handmade feel.
