Bands of warm honey-gold, sky blue, ruby red and soft yellow frame delicate hand-painted floral motifs that wrap gracefully around the body of the pot. Every flower, leaf and decorative border has been carefully painted by hand, creating a piece that feels vibrant yet wonderfully relaxed.

Look a little closer and another story begins to unfold. Beneath the painted surface, the gentle circular ridges of the turned wood remain beautifully visible. Rather than hiding them, the paint follows every curve, allowing the patterns to rise and fall with the grain. As the light moves across the surface, the softly rippled texture catches it beautifully, bringing the colours to life and giving the pot wonderful depth and movement.

The naturally crackled finish adds another layer of character. Fine lines weave gently across the painted surface, softening the colours and creating a richness that simply cannot be recreated. Condition

Wonderfully solid decorative wooden pots with the beautiful characteristics that make every piece unique.

Look closely and you'll notice the delicate concentric ridges that wrap around the body and interior of the pot. These original turning marks are created during the shaping of the wood and remain intentionally visible, giving each piece wonderful texture, depth and character.

The beautifully crackled finish, particularly around the neck and shoulder, has developed naturally over time through exposure to sunlight. These fine surface cracks are part of the painted finish itself and are a valued feature that adds warmth, depth and individuality rather than detracting from the pot's beauty.

Visible brushstrokes, gentle wear, small surface marks and slight variations in shape all form part of the pot's unique character.
