Wild, airy and beautifully intricate, this pale golden meadow grass has the most wonderful lace-like appearance. Its fine branching foliage overlaps and tangles together almost like botanical macramé, creating incredible texture without appearing heavy.
The golden-yellow colouring gives it the character of naturally dried meadow grasses and makes it easy to style throughout the seasons. Place it in an old country jug, stoneware pot or vintage vessel, or weave it amongst flowers, foliage and branches when an arrangement needs more movement and interesting detail.
What makes this stem particularly impressive is its fullness. One main stem divides into seven individual branches, each spreading naturally in a slightly different direction. The arrangement shown in the jug is created with just one stem. Several gathered together would create a striking, almost cloud-like display in a larger vase or urn.
Whether used alone or as part of a larger arrangement, it brings that wonderfully loose, untamed meadow feeling into the home.
