Sunlight catches the delicate crackled lines around it and slips between the branches, so the whole picture seems filled with that fleeting autumn light. The tree is pictured on both sides, offering another glimpse as you turn the holder.

And when the sun has gone, you can light a tealight inside. The glow returns behind the tree. Its trunk becomes a dark silhouette, its leaves shine warmly, and light runs through the crackled glass like the last rays of the day refusing to disappear. It is a lovely feeling to bring into a room on an evening when the garden outside is already dark.
