After the Rain – Woodland Glass Tealight Holders

There is a particular beauty in the woods after rain. The fallen leaves have darkened, the earth is damp, and mushrooms appear in places you might have walked past the day before. These two tealight holders capture different parts of that same autumn walk.

The medium holder takes you down to the woodland floor. A red, white-spotted mushroom rises above the leaves, with other mushrooms of different shapes and earthy colours nearby. Look closer and there is more to find among the stems and foliage. The golden-green glass has a delicate crackled texture that catches the light like moisture left behind by the rain.

The small holder tells a quieter story. Leaves drift across its rosy, rain-washed glass in shades of russet, yellow and deep brown. Some have little holes and worn edges, just as real leaves do after weeks of wind and weather. They are no less beautiful for it. This is autumn as you find it beneath your feet, when you stop to admire a leaf everyone else has stepped past.

By day, each holder is a tiny woodland scene. With a tealight inside, warm light shines through the crackled glass and gathers behind the mushrooms or leaves. It feels like bringing the comfort of home to the end of a long, damp autumn walk.

Choose the scene you love most, or place the two sizes together: the mushrooms growing among the leaves, and the leaves beginning to return to the earth.
