Large preserved hydrangeas

These really are statement hydrangeas. Naturally preserved and beautifully full, each stem has an enormous flower head made up of hundreds of delicate petals, creating incredible texture and volume. Their rich, slightly faded colouring gives them a wonderfully natural, almost vintage feel — beautiful displayed alone in a favourite vase or mixed together for a dramatic arrangement.
Available in five beautiful colours — Orange, Yellow, Green, Purple and Yellow-Green. Each has its own wonderfully aged, natural colouring, from fresh and faded greens through warm golden yellow and burnt orange to deep, moody purple. Choose one colour for a simple statement or mix several shades together for a spectacular, richly textured arrangement.
As this is a completely natural product, every hydrangea is unique. There will be slight variations in shape, colour, petal size and overall appearance from stem to stem — this is part of their natural character rather than a fault.

A little note when your hydrangea arrives:
Your hydrangea will be carefully packed for its journey and may look quite squashed and compact when you first take it out of the box. Please don’t worry! The flower heads are enormously large and simply need a little gentle attention.
Carefully open and fluff out the bloom with your fingers, gently separating and lifting the individual florets. Once opened out, you’ll see just how large and full the flower head really is.
Because preserved hydrangeas are naturally dry and delicate, a few petals may fall or small branches may occasionally break during unpacking. This does not mean that the hydrangea is damaged. With such a generous flower head, a little natural shedding is completely normal and will hardly be noticeable once the bloom has been opened and arranged.
And don’t throw those little broken pieces away! They can look beautiful tucked into a tiny vintage vase, added to a bouquet or used in smaller arrangements and decorative displays.

Each extra-large bloom has its own individual shape, and individual florets can also be carefully removed or adjusted if you would like to change the shape of your arrangement.

Care:
Preserved flowers should not be placed in water. Keep away from humid conditions and direct sunlight to help preserve their colour and appearance for many years.
